These 1990s Shui Ping are perfect entry level yixing pots. They are affordable, authentic, have a decent performance and are well made.
If you are accustomed to fine yixing, older zisha or typically more expensive pots, these fair about average.
I scored these teapots from a high end antique zisha teapot dealer.
These pots are single hole filter, and all single hole filters require a poker from time to time to clear out debris from the spout. The benefit is it never divides the tea liquor and keeps a smooth structure of the water.
For the price these are great. They feel great in the hand and function well. The Clay is great for high heat retention.
Both Sizes are relatively small and would be great for a solo session or with one friend.

If you happen to be having an issue getting the tea to taste, check our brewing instructions and follow them closely. Some teas can be more delicate to brew than others- some require more gong fu, and some are basically foolproof. Storage Instructions
Storage Instructions
Tea likes to be stored in an ambient temperature, away from light, and away from all other fragrant herbs, spices, etc. A designated drawer is good. You can also transfer your tea to a special clay jar for long term storage! If using glass, just make sure it's in a dark place, as the light can irritate Tea!
