2003 Xiaguan "Iron Cake" Clay Urn Aged Malaysia Sheng Puerh
Low stock: 3 left
This tea has a lot going on.
The dry cake wafts sweetness. The leaf grade is smaller, perhaps a "3" or "4". There is an incredibly complex incense to the first wet leaves- spices, incense.
The tea brews very strong, strong hui gan, a fair amount of bitterness, sweetness, and a definite incense/sweet spice aroma.
Notes of pine, sandalwood, pepper and sweet smoke. After several Infusions the bitter/sweetness subsides and the tea smooths out. Strong minty gan in all the pathways.
This is an excellent cake for drinking now (for the experienced palette) also for aging further.

Storage Instructions
Storage Instructions
Tea likes to be stored in an ambient temperature, away from light, and away from all other fragrant herbs, spices, etc. A designated drawer is good. You can also transfer your tea to a special clay jar for long term storage! If using glass, just make sure it's in a dark place, as the light can irritate Tea!
