This is an incredible tea from old growth trees. It's leaves are long, strong, and representative of the overall character of Ancient teas. Let the depth of these roots fortify you and give you strength.
The chi is strong, bold, and powerfully uplifting. It may move you away from your seat after a few steepings. This Tea has a royal flavor that boosts mood and allows you to move forward, with hints of cinnamon and a mild sweetness.
BREWING TIPS:
-Place enough leaves in the teapot to cover the bottom of the teapot and still see some of the bottom of the teapot. (3-5g)
-Red Tea (190-205 degrees). Different temps will bring out different notes.
-Pour the first steep off after 5-10 seconds for a rinse.
-Wait 30 seconds to a minute for the leaves to hydrate and slightly open.
-The first steep can be 20-30 seconds. Try to get every drop of water out of the teapot.
-The second steep can be a very quick "flash steep" - 2-7 seconds.
-The third steep can be slightly longer.
-Each additional steep add 10 seconds to the steeping time. Continue through as many steepings as you like.

Storage Instructions
Storage Instructions
Tea likes to be stored in an ambient temperature, away from light, and away from all other fragrant herbs, spices, etc. A designated drawer is good. You can also transfer your tea to a special clay jar for long term storage! If using glass, just make sure it's in a dark place, as the light can irritate Tea!
