Ancient Tree material from easily the most legendary tea region in the world. The price reflects the LBZ name and it doesn't fall short.
Vaporous Hui Gan and lemony notes. The minty/bitter to sweet transformation. This tea is very loud in the back of the throat. It's important to note that there are 2023 cakes of LBZ being sold for $2000+.
For me, a tea of this price and caliber needs to check every box. Outstanding chi is not a sole criteria, but must have explosive flavor and aroma.
It is important to note some brewing finesse is required. I used too much leaf the first time brewing and completely missed the tea, only able to focus on the immense depth of chi.
This tea responds very well to HOT water. It opens the throat and permeates the mouth and pathways with a lemon zesty mint hui gan that lingers.
This tea induces salivation. There is definitely a bullseye to be hit with this one.
Whereas "The Ocean," 2011 Gua Feng Zhai is immensely sweet in the front of the mouth, this tea booms on the back of the palette and throat. It has a big vaporous effect.

If you happen to be having an issue getting the tea to taste, check our brewing instructions and follow them closely. Some teas can be more delicate to brew than others- some require more gong fu, and some are basically foolproof. Follow the right amount, time, and temperature and explore the differences with any slight adjustments.

Storage Instructions
Tea likes to be stored in an ambient temperature, away from light, and away from all other fragrant herbs, spices, etc. A designated drawer is good. You can also transfer your tea to a special clay jar for long term storage! If using glass, just make sure it's in a dark place, as the light can irritate Tea!
