This one threw me for a loop when I opened up the box!
We ordered a restock of our best seller Medicine Cake and the tongs arrived with exact labeling- only a darker brown label as opposed to Medicine cake's orange label.
I spoke with my source who contacted the producer of the cakes, who claims they are the exact same cake, same production, recipe, etc. and they just did a few with brown wrappers to create a small variety.
Is it the same though? From the eyes you can see a deeper staining of the paper wrapper on these than the original. There is a similar taste, incense dazzling- but it feels different! It's 90+% the same, we might even be crazy.
It feels somehow slightly deeper fermented than the original Medicine cake. Honestly, it threw us for a loop.
Same incense profile, cookie sweetness. Does it brew a bit stronger? Bolder? You will have to decide! 🩸♨️🫖
Definitely for lovers of Medicine Cake, and anyone who likes slightly bolder tea!

Some teas can be more delicate to brew than others- some require more gong fu, and some are basically foolproof. Follow the right amount, time, and temperature and explore the differences with any slight adjustments.

Storage Instructions
Tea likes to be stored in an ambient temperature, away from light, and away from all other fragrant herbs, spices, etc. A designated drawer is good. You can also transfer your tea to a special clay jar for long term storage! If using glass, just make sure it's in a dark place, as the light can irritate Tea!
