Our Mountain Sanctuary Tea Temple, located in Lake Atitlan Guatemala, was originally a coffee plantation when we purchased in 2017.

Resting at 5900', the coffee plantation was a monoculture with avocado trees for shade.

Since we began building the Tea Temple and Retreat Center, we have fully let the ecosystem grow wild and have been fully fertilizer and pesticide free for the last 7.5 years.

The result is stunning- we still get a crop, be it about 10% of what the farm used to yield, of some of the highest grade clean coffee in the world.

The local volcano fuego spreads ash and nutrients daily, adding to an already rich humic layer.

We process this coffee totally by hand, hand machine pulping, sun drying, and our neighbor roasts and packs it when it is time to bring back to the USA.

This coffee is truly world class. I will be bringing our harvest of 150 12oz bags back to the USA August 15, and will have around 100 that aren't currently spoken for.

This is fresh roasted, single estate, volcanic, biodynamic, organic coffee from our farm freshly roasted.

The packaging is from our neighbor and roaster, Shangri-la Atitlan, and preserves the whole beans very well.

This coffee is extremely robust, high altitude Guatemalan profile- chocolate, caramel, with a flavor that lasts. The high altitude beans are small and potent. Truly world class coffee!

Many of our regular customers have been buying this coffee for years, and now that we have a website platform (cheaper shipping rates) I now offer this coffee to you our tea heads that dip on the dark side From farm to cup!

Storage Instructions

Tea likes to be stored in an ambient temperature, away from light, and away from all other fragrant herbs, spices, etc. A designated drawer is good. You can also transfer your tea to a special clay jar for long term storage! If using glass, just make sure it's in a dark place, as the light can irritate Tea!
