100% Indigenous Owned Cacao Source from our village here in San Marcos La Laguna, Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.

Morelia Mendoza reached out to me on a Monday requesting a meeting. I know her family well, they have built and run Arco Isis Sanctuary, her dad worked with us, and her uncle and cousin (father and son) built and designed my house, and are great friends of mine.

A perfect chance for Tea!

Invited them up and showed them a gong fu tea experience. We drank a very special 2011 aged Rou Gui rock Oolong.

Morelia was so moved by the energy of the temple and tea that she was brought to tears, and began blessing the space and making powerful prayers for her ancestors that have guided and protected this place.

It was a very emotional and powerful experience!

I had explained that tea was a medicine for the spirit, ancestral to China and much of Asia, and she understood completely.

Her work is retaining the knowledge of plants and Connection to the spirit of the Earth that her grandmother's knew, and is largely being forgotten by the current generation.

Morelia told me her story of growing up in the Pueblo, studying science in University, working with non profit organizations, teaching at the Waldorf School, earning a chef's title, and working administrative for hotels and other businesses.

She didn't grow up with with opportunity, but doors opened for her because of her spirit and determination. It felt a lot like my own story- going 100% all in against all odds and making it.

I was very impressed by this woman. Not only her spiritual power (she had us all moved to tears), but also her initiative and entrepreneurial spirit- rare for anyone, and especially here in the village.

Morelia came to me to let me know she has begun a small organic Cacao operation. She had 4 years experience working with cacao, and really knows her stuff!

Her family is helping process and package the cacao in the village, and her first batch was all but 125lbs!

It is so funny, because I had been entertaining selling cacao on Puerh Medicine my tea website for awhile, but I had pushed it off and hadn't had any striking inspiration.

As you all know, I have lived in Guatemala for over 8 years, and I used to import Cacao in my suitcases and sell it in the states.

So I said say no more, let's have lunch and try this cacao!

The cacao was fragrant, due to a 2 week curing method that Morelia has discovered. It is incredibly smooth, delicious and has enough power for me to consider it a very good medicine!

Morelia's approach to the Cacao is full of love and intention, and I can feel her spirit in the medicine.

As a conduit of plant medicines, I feel this is the moment for my cacao source. I happily bought all the rest of what Morelia had (paid her top dollar), and will be bringing this medicine back to the USA the 3rd week of August.

If you would like to buy some I can presale the bricks on my website, and the orders will ship around August 20 or so!

I am super pumped to continue deeper work with the Mendoza family, and to help this young, powerful entrepreneurial woman with such a powerful heart! 🩷

May the Mayan Cacao flow! 🍫🌋🍵

Dm me if interested in a brick! 🔮
