This May I had the opportunity to visit some friends who had recently begun tea farming in a picturesque region of North Vietnam, near Laos border.

This couple has a family and good jobs in Hanoi, love music and the arts and are definitely special people.

Mrs. Dung (pronounced Zoong) suffered a stroke a number of years ago and it became clear that she wanted to make some changes in her life.

Her husband and her purchased this land in this valley, a 3 acre 30+ year old organic tea plantation, as well as a swath of raw forest land nearby containing unmanaged ancient tree tea forests.

On the property they have built a small beautiful ecovillage with a small tea processing zone that they process their harvests, both by hand and also with small machinery.

I am opening up this 2 week window to presale and order one batch of their Organic Green Tea that they grow here in the pictures.

It is amazing tea and incredibly clean, and speaks of the purity of this gorgeous valley.

Basically I am going to make one order, and perhaps order one time every year if theres real interest.

What I love about this tea is they are so far below even small commercial productions- their entire harvest is about 30kg, and it is all picked by hand and made with great care.

They are doing it more as a love for Tea and a lifestyle business, which is quite beautiful. I may actually bring a small group out to this farm and also to tour their Ancient Forest which is nearby.
