A beast of a shu puerh. 👑
I've never had a shu tap me out before.
Strong fully finished sheng like quality- ginseng medicine aroma in the cup.
I kept asking him that surely this was a sheng puerh.
Apparently this cake was privately commissioned from the maker of the famous 1999 Green Tree cake, and personal friend of Mr. T's.
During the last few weeks I've been drinking shu puerh that has come from distinctly stronger material than I am used to.
It even was punchy. I could feel this deep strength accompanied by a sweet medicinal fragrance.
I will have a few slices of this Puerh available around the end of June, since I'll be shipping back everything I have so far before going back to Singapore and then Bali.
1998 private commission shu from 600-700 year material.

If you happen to be having an issue getting the tea to taste, check our brewing instructions and follow them closely. Some teas can be more delicate to brew than others- some require more gong fu, and some are basically foolproof. Follow the right amount, time, and temperature and explore the differences with any slight adjustments.

Storage Instructions
Tea likes to be stored in an ambient temperature, away from light, and away from all other fragrant herbs, spices, etc. A designated drawer is good. You can also transfer your tea to a special clay jar for long term storage! If using glass, just make sure it's in a dark place, as the light can irritate Tea!
