This is an incredible and unique shou puerh from the famous Menghai region that is actually somewhat of a hybrid of ripe and raw puerh. The leaves were just lightly fermented, and this results in a very interesting flavor and body that resembles old raw more than a new ripe puerh, at a fraction of the price.
The qi is deeply centering, powerful, and again more like a raw puerh. It warms the body and brings the mind to stillness. There are notes of rich chestnut all the way through many steepings.
BREWING TIPS:
Add enough leaves to the teapot to cover the bottom of the teapot while still having the bottom slightly visible (3-5g).
-Shou puerhs usually like as hot water as possible (205-212 degrees).
-Pour the first steep off after 5 seconds for a rinse.
-Wait 30 seconds to a minute for the leaves to hydrate and slightly open.
-The first 2 steeps could be around 30 seconds.
The second steep could be 10-20 seconds.
-Each additional steep add 5-10 seconds to the steeping time. Continue through as many steepings as you like.

Storage Instructions
Storage Instructions
Tea likes to be stored in an ambient temperature, away from light, and away from all other fragrant herbs, spices, etc. A designated drawer is good. You can also transfer your tea to a special clay jar for long term storage! If using glass, just make sure it's in a dark place, as the light can irritate Tea!
