This is the crown jewel of Shu puerh so far in all of my travels and search for the highest quality aged puerh.

According to my source this tea is actually a blend of 70% shu and 30% sheng. This makes sense as the qi is very powerful.

I bought the last 6 cakes available, and am offering them up here on Mountain Sanctuary Tea as a special glimpse into my private collection of old teas.

This cake tastes and smells like a warm brownie/cookie, with notes of sweet graham cracker/s'more. It coats the throat like hot chocolate and deeply opens the throat and nostrils.

Later steepings bring a deep spice, incense and chinese medicine aroma.

The Cha Qi feels like a warm hug from Grandma. It is full body and relaxing.

The liquor is sweet to the taste and has a buttery like consistency.

This tea has a strong feminine energy/feel to it, I can only really describe it as a warm hug from Grandma- something you will need to experience for yourself!

This Tea was dry aged in Clay urns in Malaysia for the majority of it's lifetime.

Liquor is deep, dark amber, and clear.

Storage Instructions

Tea likes to be stored in an ambient temperature, away from light, and away from all other fragrant herbs, spices, etc. A designated drawer is good. You can also transfer your tea to a special clay jar for long term storage! If using glass, just make sure it's in a dark place, as the light can irritate Tea!
